Sir Thomas Camber died between June 1773 and May 1774 in Charleston, SC. He married between 1752 and 154 in North Carolina to 1) Hannah Bursey. She died between July 1753 and February 1754 in New Hanover County, NC. He married April 10, 1762 in Great Ogeechee, GA to 2) Dorothy Butler. Her mother’s name was Sarah.
Thomas Camber received 400 acres in St. Peters Parish on June 7, 1765. He also received 400 acres in Purrysburg Township, Granville, SC on August 23, 1765. His last will and testament can be found in Will Book 1774-1779, page 72 of the Georgia Archives.

[Green’s History of Richland County.] He was a son of William Brisbane and Margaret Stewart. [Her will was recorded in Will Book A 1 page 431 on December 5, 1820, SC Archives]
A. Adam Fowler Brisbane, Jr. born December 19, 1779 and died January 3, 1806. He married Margaret Irving in Kershaw District, SC. No issue.
B. Elizabeth Dale Brisbane born December 5, 1781 and died September 1, 1826 Kershaw District, SC. She married on July 26, 1802 to William Ancrum born 1771 and died 1831, son of George Ancrum and Katherine Porcher.
1. William Porcher Ancrum born March 7, 1808 and died 1810.
2. Fowler Brisbane Ancrum born January 23, 1811 and died 1830.
3. George Octavius Ancrum born April 5, 1813 and died 1824.
4. William Alexander Ancrum born June 10, 1815 and died 1862. He married on March 27, 1837 to Charlotte Elizabeth Douglas.

II. Dorothy Camber born about 1763 and died September 12, 1832 in Pensacola, FL. She married June 16, 1777 to George Walton born 1741 Farmville, Prince Edward, VA and died February 2, 1804 Augusta, GA, son of Robert Walton II and Mary Hughes. [Historical Collections of the DAR, Vol. #2; 332] Dorothy Camber Walton is buried in a brick-walled lot with a plaque in St. Michael Cemetery. The plaque reads, “In memory of Dorothy Walton, wife of George Walton, a Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Placed by the Pensacola Fla. Chapter DAR and SAR, 1929.” On a flat stone within the wall, another plaque reads, “Died in Pensacola, 12 September aged 73 years. Mrs. Dorothy Walton, a native of Georgia, a Matron of the Revolution, Consort and Relict of George Walton, a Signer of the Declaration of Independence.” Though her father was a Loyalist, she supported the Patriot’s cause.

1. Octavia Celeste Walton born August 11, 1811 and died March 12, 1877 Augusta, GA. She married Dr. Henry Strachey LeVert born December 26, 1804 King William County, GA and died March 15, 1864 Mobile, AL, son of Dr. Claudeus LeVert of France.
2. Robert Watkins Walton born 1812 Augusta, Richmond County, GA and died March 22, 1849 Mobile, AL.
III. Ann Sarah Camber born about 1765 Bryan County, GA and died about 1800 Savannah, GA. She married John Habersham born December 23, 1754 and died December 17, 1799; buried Colonial Cemetery, Savannah, GA., son of James Habersham and Mary Bolton.
