A Psalm of David
TWENTY-THIRD PSALM
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and merecy shail follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORd forever.

William Drayton FRICK
William Drayton Frick was born Dec. 3. 1833, and departed this life Oct. 11, 1901; aged 67 years, 10 months, and 8 days.  He was planted in Christ by baptism in infancy, and at mature age was confirmed a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church, Lexington County, S. C., in which connection he remained until death.  On Feb. 6, 1862, he was married to Miss Nancy Louisa Boland, to whom have been born 8 children, one of whom has been called into rest.  Brother Frick was of a pleasant and unassuming disposition, ever hopeful that those who put their trust in the Lord shall be saved.  His place as a husband, as a father, and as a neighbor will know him no more upon earth, but his memory still lives in the hearts of those whom he had endeared to himself.  He leaves to mourn his departure a devoted wife, 7 children, 5 grandchildren, and a large number of relatives and friends.  Funeral services were conducted by his pastor on Sunday morning, the 13th, and his remains laid to rest in the family burying ground in the presence of a large congregation of sorrowing relatives and friends
